Bill Paxton - President
For over two decades, Bill Paxton has advised a broad cross section of clients, including corporations, associations, employee groups, and individuals, with strategic communications consulting and advocacy at the local, state, and federal level. Over these years, he has guided clients through a myriad of policy issues, including water/wastewater, domestic manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, insurance, oil and gas exploration, and emergency response systems.
A licensed attorney, Bill has many years of experience in counseling clients through complex issues. In addition, he has played key roles in the creation, development and implementation of multiple public relations campaigns across Texas.
As a founding partner of Maverick Strategy Group, a full service business development, public affairs, and marketing communications firm, Bill has guided companies in the water/wastewater infrastructure industry in their business development efforts with new product introduction and market evaluation/expansion at the local, state and federal government levels as well as in the private sector.
Bill earned his bachelor’s degree in history and J.D. degree from Louisiana State University and resides in Austin, Texas with his wife and two young sons.
